My Story

We are Franny Benali and Iain Dowie– former Southampton FC players and incredibly passionate about giving back. Over the past three years,  Benali on Tour challenges have raised nearly £90,000 for Saints Foundation, helping people in our city reach their full potential.

This will be Frannys 4th year and Iain's 1st year taking on the biggest challenge yet: conquering 10 Lake District summits, including England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike. The challenge will be a one-day 14.5-mile (23.4km) circular trek through the north west of England, taking place from 30 April to 2 May.

Once again, supporters can join us on the journey. Benali on Tour isn’t just about the walking - it’s about the incredible atmosphere, the camaraderie, and the shared desire to make a difference. The tour will finish in style, with participants watching Saints’ final away game of the 2025/26 season against Preston North End.

We're really looking forward to catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and pushing ourselves once more – all while raising vital funds for Saints Foundation. Thank you for your support with an aim to raise £750!
